Backflow Prevention Device Replacement
Standard replacement of backflow preventer per industry standards.
This is a standard backflow preventer replacement, wherein we remove and replace the backflow preventer.
Definition: A backflow prevention device is used to protect potable water supplies from contamination or pollution due to backflow. In water distribution systems, water is normally maintained at a significant pressure to enable water to flow from the tap, shower, or other fixture. Reduced pressure in the pipe may allow contaminated water from the soil, from storage, or from other sources to be drawn up into the system. Backflow prevention devices are designed to specifically counteract this backflow effect.
