Submeter with Remote Readout Installation

Standard water submeter replacement and remote readout installation per industry standards.

This is a standard submeter with remote readout installation, wherein we remove the old water submeter and replace with a new one, and additionally installing a submeter remote readout. 

Definition:  Water submeters are a plumbing service that involves installing separate water meters into individual units.  This is typically seen in apartment communities, condominium communities, mobile home communities, etc., where multiple clients may be paying individually for the water that they use from a single supplied line.  A remote readout is a device that can be read remotely without being on site, usually from a computer, phone, or other smart device.

Scope of Work

1.   Temporarily turn off water prior to performing work.  Water to affected space is typically off for 1-2 hours.
2.   Remove defective submeter and dispose of appropriately.
3.   Furnish and install (1) new water submeter.
4.   Furnish and install (1) new submeter remote readout.
5.   Test for full system operation upon completion and prior to site departure.
6.   Work typically performed during normal business hours.
