24v Control Transformer Replacement

Replacement of 24v control transformer as per industry standards

A Control Transformer is a part of what is, comparatively, the central nervous system of an HVAC unit.

Definition: "A control transformer is a transformer that is used to step down incoming voltage to power the control devices of a circuit or machine."

Scope of Work

1.   Perform required lockout/tag out safety protocol as per NFPA70E of all high-voltage electrical circuits prior to beginning work on the existing unit.   
2.   Label all applicable wiring prior to removal of the existing control transformer.
3.   Demo and dispose of the existing control transformer.
4.   Furnish and install (1) new, same or equivalent brand to unit, 24v control transformer.
5.   Terminate all wiring to factory specifications.
6. Perform basic system startup and testing to ensure proper operation prior to site departure
